Job Description –Lockbox Processor

Client's Receivable Operations division supports lockbox services delivered to Corporate and Public Sector (i.e., government clients). The firm’s Receivables Operations division performs payment and document intake digitization services for our clients.

• As a Lockbox Processor, you will be responsible for preparing, organizing, digitizing and/or Data Keying highly sensitive documents.
\n
• Our processors must be able to read and follow instructions, understand and adhere to procedures, and be able to use sound judgement to make decisions.
\n
• Team members should be willing to ask for clarification when needed. Processor accuracy must be combined with efficient teamwork in order to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines for our clients while contributing to a positive work environment.
\n

Responsibilities may include the following:

\n
• Preparing work for digitization by extracting payments and documents from mailing envelopes
\n
• Inputting and validating data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer specific instructions for processing
\n
• Operating high-volume document scanning machines while validating quality of scanned images
\n
• Validating/reconciling electronic records to paper documentation
\n
• Making judgment calls regarding routine duties but refer non-routine situations to a supervisor and/or manager
\n
• Willingness to learn new processing functions and equipment operation in all areas/departments of production as needed
\n
• Maintaining site productivity and quality standards
\n
• Contributing to meeting team accuracy and production goals in addition to individual targets
\n
• Ensuring that all customer and bank guidelines are followed as related to operations, internal audit and security, and general practices
\n
• Lifting and moving mail trays weighing up to 50 pounds
\n

Requirements:

\n
• No Prior Experience Needed – training provided
\n
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
\n
• Must be able to pass a background check and credit check
\n
• Must be willing to work in a high security production environment
\n
• Familiarity with use of PC as some functions require this skill
\n
• Proficiency with typing and alpha numeric data entry – with excellent accuracy (Data Entry role)
\n
• Team player who is able to maintain a positive attitude and be flexible to help meet daily processing deliverables
\n
• Effectively interact with diverse groups within the organization
\n
• Physical requirements: Sitting – up to 95% of the time, standing – up to 10% of the time, Lifting – up to 15% of the time and up to 50 pounds; Walking – up to 10% of the time
\n

Work hours and schedules may vary by site and may be subject to change. Below are examples of USCIS shifts/times: Note : This position may require you to work Saturdays, non-traditional hours, and/or additional hours as business needs arise. 10% shift differential.
